  PHARMACEUTICALS
Dry air is most important during the production as well as during the storage of pharmaceutical products.

Tablet compressing
No powder sticking to the form with dry air.

Fluidized bed
With desiccant technology the drying time can be drastically reduced. For temperature sensitive products desiccant drying is a must.

Hard gelatin capsules
Dry air prevents the powder coagulation before the capsule is sealed.

Coating
Control of the humidity is a necessity when coating tablets with water-based products.

Packing & storage
Packaging processes can also be improved since the dry air prevents the products from sticking.

Sterile rooms & laboratories
Low relative humidity prevents bacteria from multiplying. The SSCR-rotor (which is the heart of every DST-dehumidifier), is ideal for these applications as it is bacteriostatic and there's no dispersion to the air.

Handling of ingredients
The air that comes into contact with hygroscope ingredients must be at low relative humidity during weighing and blending.
